Colin Harris attended his first convention in 1984, so Loncon 3 will mark his thirtieth year of active involvement in fandom. He entered con-running through an interest in programme, particularly for Mexicon 4 and 5 and then Intersection, the 1995 Worldcon. Heavily involved with the 2005 Glasgow Worldcon bid from its early days, he ultimately co-chaired Interaction alongside Vincent Docherty. Since then he has worked as Chair's Staff for Denvention 3 (2008), |Renovation (2011) and Chicon 7 (2012), advising on topics including management, communications, budgeting, press, and websites and social media. He reads far less SF than he would like to but visits the cinema whenever time allows and collects original genre artwork. His interest in SF art also inspired the creation of the Worldcon Artist Showcase publication, now in its second year.
